Business Operations Manager

We need a Business Ops Czar: Someone who can create effective processes for allocating team resources while maximizing team output and minimizing downtime. In a word, you’re an innovator. You excel in project management, too: You’ll manage, plan and coordinate killer projects, making sure they’re completed on time and on budget. You’ll also get to think big picture, managing project plans for our executive leadership team. And, you’ll help some of the industry’s brightest sharpen their skills by creating valuable training and educational materials.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Create and refine business process and workflows that will streamline requests and drive greater efficiencies specific to timing of delivery.
  • Reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing projects
  • Responsible for the identification, development, documentation and maintenance of a system / process that helps to understand and identify resource availability across teams at all times
  • Serve as a strategic partner to North America digital leads team for integration of processes between planning, strategy and staffing.
  • Establish a project work plan identifying the need for and securing of the appropriate  multi-disciplinary talent (at the appropriate time) for projects and assigns them when necessary for each phase of a project
  • Manage initial and on-going project plans for large integrated digital projects.
  • Responsible for the financial management across the North America digital team, including identification of insights that will drive greater efficiencies within the business.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
 

Minimum/Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Liberal Arts or a related field is required or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-10 years of process development, workflow creation, business process documentation, operations, or applicable experience is required. 
  • Proven ability and success in managing large scale projects and multiple clients.
  • Expert level Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel).

  • Must be adept at creative problem solving on the fly and thinking on your feet.
  • Exceptional diplomacy and a proven ability to manage a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate to clients’ needs and influence their decisions.
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty, pivot quickly, and set expectations.
  • Ability to work with all levels in the organization with diplomacy and tact.
  • Client and business environment: Customer service orientation is a must.  Job pressure may exist from requirement of handling multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion.
  • Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations, Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English.
