The WE Marketing team is a dynamic group of energetic strategists, designers and writers creating branded content and owned-channel assets for B2B and B2C clients. Our output includes, but is not limited to short- and long-form articles, eBooks, videos, website landing pages, infographics, email newsletters, white papers, social-only content and more.


The Senior Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for devising, managing, and growing content programs for our clients. Working with the Integrated Services teams, they will translate our clients’ (and prospective clients’) marketing and branding needs into custom content solutions and ensure we’re delivering to the highest standards.


The Senior Content Marketing Manager will liaise with the agency’s public relations, social, analytics and creative teams to deliver brilliant shareable ideas that equally delight clients and target audiences alike; ultimately to positively impact clients’ communications, marketing and business goals. They will represent the WE brand and values to our clients and leverage these as the reason why working with WE is strategic to their own business objectives.


This is a 3-month full-time contract role with an opportunity to convert to a full-time position based on performance. 


  • Work with agency account teams – and independently – to develop brilliant ideas for content solutions that will delight our clients and target audiences alike
  • Works with Integrated Services team leadership to understand the needs of our highest-value clients better than they do themselves, and translate those needs into solutions WE can provide
  • Confidently manage and grow a range of content programs and projects
  • Gather requirements from, work closely with and present content strategies to clients
  • Represent and evangelize the agency’s point of view about content strategy and marketing both internally at the agency, and externally in the market



  • 7+ years of experience of business development and/or sales with a focus on content marketing, digital and visual storytelling, content strategy, creative direction, social media and marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of the intersection of digital media and brand journalism – and the ability to translate this to determine clients’ content needs
  • Experience scoping and managing projects within agreed upon budgets
  • Must be able to think proactively about existing and new services to grow content programs – including social media and custom creative
  • Exceptional diplomacy and a proven ability to manage a variety of stakeholders and communicate effectively and respectfully
  • Combination of a marketing and business development mindset, with a fierce commitment to the audience experience; ability to match a brand’s publishing opportunities to audience needs
  • Preferred experience working at or with Microsoft and knowledge of product suites
  • Understands branded content basics, such as style, SEO, UX, localization, social media, etc.
